Templatic R.Bhavesh Better at marketing then supporting products, Internet

Produces Word Press themes. Rushes the themes out the door without proper testing. Users pay for what they think are final products only to find out that they haven't been properly tested. Then promised to fix them to bring them up to expectations.

Great website and great marketing but they fall flat delivering on their promises.

Used to have a forum where buyers could receive support but they filled up with complaints about bugs and unfulfilled promises.

Now the forums have been taken down claiming: "We noticed that some of the users complained about the support forum being too slow to access, pages took forever to load and also lacked privacy as others can see the threads posted by them."

and replaced with a walled off empty help desk so they could hide the complaints.

In reality...users were claiming in the forums their disgust with the products and support they were receiving...and it was creating bad publicity for templatic.

Don't buy from this company. And don't assume that most Indians still have the Honor that traditional people from that country were raised with.

Templatic Themes REALLY is a scam

Templatic Themes, hides their no refund policy, sells undeveloped/tested products, support does not help

So this should really show you how much you can not trust Templatic as a theme developer.

http://sitekarma.com/templatic.com/  They display ratings based on reviews on their website, here on ripoffreport and other reports on the internet. Apparently there have been  A LOT.

My story is that I bought a theme from theme, Private Lawyer, and the theme did not install. My tracking codes wouldn't work. All sorts of problems.

It is a wordpress theme so I should not have to install it using FTP ( I had to learn how just for this theme) and even after I went through all of that trouble my tracking code still wasn't working, and malicious background coding was being thrown.

I want to also stress the fact that at the VERY bottom of their terms (which you automatically agree to by purchasing, they are never displayed, they are linked to and in my opinion hidden quite well. They do not even require you to check a box like most people do, they just let you quickly buy and get you locked in to their ((in my opinion )) scam)

Why is it a scam? Because the themes did not work. They claimed that it was because of my plugins, so in the 48 hour period that I was waiting on the help desk to reply (I know that's slow enough isn't it!?!) I decided that I would ask for a refund on that product and go ahead and try a different one.

Needless to say, that theme once installed did not look like it did in the live demo. So I asked for a refund.

That is when I was made aware of their scam.

I also want to say that in his last rebuttal, R.Bhavesh addressed that the last person filing a claim stated that it was a problem with the country of which he descends.

I bet the readers can't guess where he is from.. That is right, he is from India. Why is that a stereotype? Because I have been ripped off by countless Indians by using these little quick loot and run type of deals.

R.Bhavesh will get your money, and after that it really doesn't matter what you think. (I emailed him personally about getting a refund AND explained the whole situation and my dissatisfaction. He did not care. He did not even reply. )

I am not the first that he has done this too. (I now have read 1000's of negative reviews) I truly agree with the last report that they got rid of their forums, not because users didn't like how slow they were (that doesn't even make sense, and he does not cite anyone's emails, or references of complaints, he just claims that they were complaining about the speed), but more so because the forums were filled with negative experiences and serious technical issues of the themes not working.

So, watch out, because no matter how good the theme looks, no matter how many comments there are on the site about the theme being great, you never know if the theme will even install, let alone look, or function, like the live demo makes it appear.

All the best,
Reporter

I wish instead of bad mouthing the false claims, you had taken a simple pain of creating a support ticket at our helpdesk - http://templatic.com/helpdesk

1) We took down PHPBB forums because

- they we too slow to access (clients complained about this in the forums)
- it was hard for us to keep track of the things, sometime, an issue went unnoticed and as a result, people felt left out. While the reality was, we never knew about the topic
- At times, we needed login information from client to help them do some settings that they did not understand. They can not share it publicly in forums, with helpdesk, they easily can.

Also, forums are good at the beginning of some company. When you grow to a certain site, forums are not ideal place to provide help. Dont take my word for it, rather, take a look at all the major companies selling product and look how they are providing support - forum or helpdesk?

And helpdesk are not support forums - they will be empty unless users add support tickets there :)

By the way, we are taking a look at our helpdesk and find no support tickets submitted by you - quite hard to provide support when it is not even asked. Isn't it?

2) The product updates are available to all members - not via forums but the member area from where they download the product first and every time. You are provided login information using which, you can always login and download the latest copy of the software.

3) When you mentioned without proper testing etc., you should have also mentioned the 'bugs' that was in our product. Wasn't it the same product of which we provide live demo at templatic site?

The changes we promised to the users were additional 'features' and 'changes' - such as.. users didnt want ajax loading pages and instead, simple ones. They wanted the product slider buttons outside the iphone screen and not inside. Arent these the exact 'bugs' you are talking about?

we wouldn't consider them as but. Instead, an improvement suggested by our users.

(be aware that users in the forum were informed just few days after the launch that we've made all those changes requested by them and uploaded a new version of the theme in member area)

4) As a business person, I hate to comment on this but you are pointing a finger at our nation India - of which I am extremely proud of. If I am bad or "ripping off" people, that is me as a person and my country is no way responsible for this. Infact, it is the greatest country in the world and I would pray to be born on this land again and again. When you mention honor, you should first know what honor is. Its not about degrading someone or someone's country on false assumptions.

Finally, as I mentioned in very beginning of this message, it would help you better if you try to contact us using our helpdesk where two full time support persons are providing help. Instead of creating false claims at third party sites like this.
