Complaint Review: Tera Engineering

Tera Engineering Sean Ramirez and Karla Perez Injection mold tooling in China never delivered. Money not returned. CONSUMER FRAUD Orange California

Ordered an injection mold for my oral pain relief mouthpiece on April 15th 2016 and 12,000 parts from Tera Engineering there was a 40 day lead time for the tooling and an extra 3 weeks for the parts that were to be produced from the steel mold. The cost for this service was $7000 which was quaintly paid in full. I requested my money back because of the late date (it's October 15th) for delivery only to be completely ignored. I also contracted with this engineering firm to automate the assembly for my product which has cost another $3000. All which has been paid whiteout a single component being built out as our written agreement specifies. It has all but destroyed my 2 years of full time work towards launching my product. It's highly cautioned that you proceed carefully if you use this company for you manufacturing or engineered design needs.

Tera Engineering has NOT resolved this matter.

Tera Engineering has breach (once again) the settlement terms that were agreed es to in writing. They had a window of 30 days to comply with the terms of the agreement. Specifically to deliver 9000 parts I had ordered and paid for in full 18 months earlier. I corrected the original posting after the terms were memorialized in ink. The due date for the delivery of my parts arrived and they simply said "we don’t have them” so I want to make it clear that this company is unbelievably fraudulent. It’s sad but very very true and even though my business was able to overcome their criminal action I’m still passionate about keeping this warming posted and relevant because if I can save one start up from losing their dream in developing a product that may change the world I’m not wasting my time. Had I not put thousands of dollars and my Engineering needs in the hands of Tera Engineering (sean Ramirez amd karla Perez) my hardships would have been much less grueling when attempting to go to market. Advice to anyone in need of manufacturing related Engineering assistance, be very careful of course. Most of all, try to do it yourself. Don’t underestimate the problem solving skill sets that you’re capable of bringing out in yourself. I’ve wasted a lot of money paying for professional engineers who were not dynamic, experienced or educated enough to bring answers to the table than I was myself. Tera Engineering fell into each of these three subsets. They are amongst the worst but they are certainly not alone.

Tera Engineering Update - More Fraud, More Lies

#4Author of original report

Wed, November 29, 2017

I last posted on this forum to say that Tera Engineering made the fraud issue I had IU n stalling $7000 without supplying a mold tool and parts. I wrote this the night before our first court date where I sued them in small claims. I live 500 miles from the venue and didn't care to extend further expensive litigation. So I "settled" with a written contract stating that they would provide the parts I had ordered a full year previous in April 2016. I ordered 12,000 parts and recieved 3000. The terms were to provide me the 9000 parts by May 31st 2017. Well Sean Ramirez and his wife Karla Perez being the moral bankrupt duo they are made zero effort to fulfill the terms of the contract so I had to refile in their region (500 miles away) a second case. They knowing breached the contract we made thinking that I'd never travel the distance to bring a second court case to life. They stalled and delayed the hearing causing me to make multiple airline and hotel purchases with the intent that I told my business under try ye financial stress to where I won't need the parts in suing them for in the first place. They were wrong. After thousands of dollars I finally had our in November where I got the $5800 four cavity Chinese made mold tool in my possession. 18 months after I had ordered it .... Now, after learning the tool makers identity in China I have learned not only did these theivee. Charge me $5800 for a $2000 mold, they didn't order the mold tool from China until almost 3 months after I paid the first $3500 ($7000 total) in early April. They stole my money to pay personal bills and it's documented. So, the trial in November 2017 only addressed the first crime that Tera Engineering pulled on me. The great part is that the documented damages from the breech which occurred thatforced me to file a second suit was made or entered into contract while in my region which means that karma is working for the righteous by allowing me to sue for those $10,000 in damages in my city. They will be required to travel to answer for these crimes like I was forced to hold them accountable for the first fraud act. I know that I've been contacted by a few tera engineering potential clients and I'm happy to furnish the documented evidence that truly shows these people should be procedures criminally it's so egregious their crimes. Also, if you're looking for injection mold services contact the tool maker direct. They are called Zetar Industry Co Limiter. They do ALL tera engineering mold work despite the tera website appearance that suggests the work is made in the USA by tera engineering. It's all a huge huge con as the prices are a 1/3 of what the gouging that you're sure to get if you do business with these unethical people. Happy to take time to all considering this company for product development. My warning is truly from the heart. As a businessman I feel it's not worth the effort to litigate but this was such a moral duty and I'm able to back up every claim with documented proof. Be very careful. Sharks do exist and these two need to be exposed.

Tera Engineering has satisfactorily remedied this dispute!

Tera Engineering, Sean Ramirez and Karla Perez have resolved this dispute to my satisfaction. This platform "ripoffreport.com" should allow posters of consumer complaints the ability to delete posts if the business makes good on the issue which causes the original post. They don't, so I will write this rebuttal as it's all I'm able to do to communicate the fact that this dispute has been resolved.
