Complaint Review: Terrence Smith Meridian Finacial Trust Com

I received a letter form this company stating that I had won a publishing house sweekstake for $225 thounsands dollars and that all I needed to do was contact this man nmed Terrace Smith at are-code 778-323-4699 and he would give me instruction to claim my prize. It also said that I had receriveda check for the amout of 4 thousand and three hundred dollars and cent to pay the GST and insurance paid through Money Gram. I do not know how he got my address but I thought everything was a trick, when I notice the evelop had no return address and it had a stamp from canada. I went on line and found out that this was a rip off a scam.
