I put a deposit On an apartment wih Terrier Properties for $500.00 3 weeks before my move in date. After being lied to about The date I was suppose to move in, I got aggravated and decided I did not want to sign a lease with a company that I was already having issues with.

I went to go get a deposit back and they said that since the apartment was taken off the market I couldn't get it back. So I had no choice to move in or I would be out the $500. The day I moved in I was told that I would be getting a completely different unit because the man that was suppose to move out of the unit i put the 500 deposit on no longer wanted to move. So I didn't get the original apt that I put the "non-refundable" deposit. I never had a chance to view the unit.

When I moved in there were holes in almost all the walls from the previous tenant. The unit was dirty. Broken AC unit and also broken blinds. When I asked to get a new AC I was told I would gy it the wk that I moved in. I wasn't actually put on their schedule to have it fixed until the following Wednesday.

I was also told that for $40 extra a month, my electric, Internet, cable, water, sewer, trash, and gas would be included for 40. This is not be case. The meter is read by an employee of terrier properties and then they charge you extra for the electricity that is used. Which is understandable but I don't want to be told that it is included when in fact it isn't.
