I was a technician at Tech-Pro, working with the Infrastructure and Support team. Throughout my tenure, we were being assigned projects that were sold by TERRY BRANHAM.

Terry's problem is that he has NO technical knowledge and expertise, preventing him from understanding the proper timeframes on a project. He also would double and triple book us (the techs) and then throw an honest tantrum when we could not meet his "requirements."

He had me working on a project that was averaging 80-90 hours a week for over 5 weeks (including weekends, and many 2 am nights in a server room.) For my efforts, I was promised some comp time to be able to recharge inbetween a few projects. When I was on my needed rest, he tried to revoke it and call me in. It was only by the act of management (some of the good guys) above him that they forced him to keep his promise.

When he feels that you are not in his pocket, he will constantly try to find a replacement for you, under the guise of "giving you more help." He will never take the blame for a failure in the project, and try to shift it on anyone and everyone. I don't claim that I was a perfect employee, however I put in a LOT of additional effort, only to have it trivialized by Terry, or have all of the credit taken.

Tech-Pro is not really to blame for my bad experience, other than the lengths that they went to give Terry chance after chance, even after scathing complaints from customers.

If you find yourself in the unfortunate position of working with TERRY BRANHAM, watch your back, watch your wallet (as there was some hinting of "adjusting" hours to improve profit margins), and COVER YOUR BUTT. Document everything in email so that you can prove him wrong when he lies to your manager, your co-workers, or your customers.
