I recently got laid off from my company that I've been at for over 10 yrs. at the age of 40 I was faced with the decision of finding a new career path. I kept seeing this add in the paper to send away for the booklet offering help with the postal battery exam. It garanteed employment or your money back. I figured it was in the paper under the help wanted adds so it must be lagit.

Well needless to say I have not received any e-mails on any testing in the area and decided to call the 800 number for my refund and lo and behold none of the numbers are in service. I went to the web sight and that's when I realized I had been ripped off. Is there any way of getting my money back?

Get your money back!

Hi Shannon,
I'm sorry to hear you went through this too (I had the same situation happen to me in January of this year). These people are great at taking money from people that don't have enough in the first place (that's why we were looking for a new job, right?).
I talked with them a few times and each time they were rude and unresponsive (although I did get through to them). After a while I decided to give it a rest and call up the credit card company. After an investigation the credit card company found out that they are in fact a scam and got my money back for me. Try calling the number on the back of your card and filing a dispute, hopefully they can help you out.
Good Luck!
