Testing CCA First National Card Testing CCA First National Card Lakemoor Illinois
I received the CCA First National Card offer/credit card for the third time. I read all the complaints and decided to test it. In all the complaints at several different web sites including consumer affairs I found one positive response (http://www.consumeraffairs.com/scam_alerts/consumer_cr.html). I wonder who wrote it...The call took 36 minutes the automated instructions lasted 28 minutes. I provided all required information which I will not disclose at this point and activated the Card. At this point the charges are $199.00 due on December 21st for the card itself and two separate charges of $99 the first due on March 1st and second April 1st. In addition there will be an Annual charge of $99. This totals $496.00. This is less than what you would pay in interest using a visa/mastercard/amex, keeping it in good standing with relative offers as CCA. The $198.00 charge is for something called benefits. This is to cover you in the event of unathourize use of your card. Not sure why this would not be a free benefit if you can prove your card was used without your authourization. I was unable to locate a web presence and unfortunately I neglected to ask the individual I was speaking to who provided me a first and last name, and badge number 67763...Shame on me.
I will update all of my progress.

If that is the extent of their "web presence", you have to question their legitimacy.
