Complaint Review: Tevis Hodges

 Here he goes again. Making up stuff I really did that? Shawn I would be in jail. First of all every truck I did you shorted me money so you could always make a killing. Second you don't have a business here in Idaho or the US . I have contacted the us border with your illegal trips. They are looking into your trips. If you are a real business then have one here. I'm sure you will not be coming back to the us. Shawn has tons of pictures of all my cars and trucks on Facebook trying to sell my stuff. Why it's not for sell. He has con to many guys in Idaho and Canada. He ran a oil fracking company in Canada and sold 5 rigs up there with out paying the bank for them. They are looking for Shawn and want to make him pay. He still owes almost half a million to the bank. This guy need to be in jail. Please report him to the US border they are looking for answers.

This is not the first time I have worked with Tevis. He has done 4 different jobs for me over the past two years. One job was over $20,000 when it was done. I received a reciept from him for the work.

The most recent job was completed in October 2015. This one was $9000.00, I also have that reciept.

I have supported and promoted his automotive business during this time. He led me to believe that I could trust him. As a forginer I was looking to establish a solid relationship with an Idaho small business, to buld or work on vehicles that I purchse here in the Treasure Valley and take back to Canada. The 1959 Apache was suppose to be just that. It is a train wreck. 

He also sold me a truck bed that he still has not given me. I have that receipt. 

He sold me a title and a VIN tag and installed it on a 1964 Ford F-100. I have that receipt. That truck in in Nampa.

He sold me a title and VIN tag for the 1971 truck he built that is now at the Sun Vally Auto Club in Hailey Idaho. He installed the VIN tag with the rossette rivits. As he also did with the 3 trucks he recently sold at Mecum Auction in California. 

Being from Canada I did not realize these action where illigal. He has a file cabinet full of titles and matching VIN tags. He can also alter the option stickers found in the glove boxes of the 1967 to 1972 Chevy trucks to match whatever modificatons he has done to them.

 First of all working on cars is a hobby Im very good at. I do not do this for a living. But I have in the past. Eco Green is an insulation business in Idaho and offers insulation services. Shawn Johnston lives in Canada and doesn't have a house in Idaho or has ever needed to use Eco Green for insulation . He came to me asking for help to build a 1959 Chevy 2 wheel drive pickup into a halfton 4x4. He told me he had a budget of 10k and charged his customer 25k to build the truck. I asked what he wanted do to the truck I did as he asked when I finished the truck we found out the 4x4 suburban tranny was not shifting into gears and that it might need rebuilt he was expecting me to fix it for free. When it was Shawn deal because that was the one that he bought with the suburban and didnt have a warrant his deal to pay the difference. But he is a con man he wrote a check for 2k and the check was no good I'm out thousand of dollars with this guy. He is a very short tempered and doesn't like it when he doesn't get his way. I know over 5 guys he has burned in the USA. He is from Canada and thinks it's okay to act this way and treaten you. Shawn treats his wife this way he hits and beats her last time he was cought on the road by a cop and was arrested. He was sprised that you cant do that in the USA I quess it's okay in Canada. But this is the United Statesof America. We don't stand for that. I had to cut ties with this guy he still has an out standing balance with the work I have done for him. He still texts me wanting more work do I don't get him. I have Leared my lesson form Shawn Johnston. Watch out he runs his con business under (buy sell trade) classics in Canada.
