On the morning of Monday 14 June (2010) my dis-abled wife stopped at the Texaco Quick Lube on US-1 South in St. Augustine for an "Oil Change" on her 2008 Nisson. She was enroute to Jacksonville for a spinal procedure.

The manager advised her that the radiator required flushing as it was the orig fluids and needed to be done ASAP (I had this done at the dealer when I purchased the vehicle for her 18 months ago).

When the service was completed she departed to drive to JAX.  About 3 miles from the station her her vehicle stopped in the middle of an intersection and would not start.  She called the Quick Lube and they said someone would come out to check.  In the meantime she had to push the vehicle clear of the intersection.

The "Manager" arrived and discovered that an air-line had been left loose under the vehicle by their "Technician", and the radiator reservoir cap had not been put back on.  The dashboard "Check Engine" light was now ON.  The manager instructed my wife to continue her trip without the cap and to return to the station upon her return where the cap would be replaced and the light turned off.

I contacted them as they were rude and said it was "No big deal..." that mistakes happen. Further when I advised them that the radiator had been previously flushed & serviced by the dealer, they said that it appeared necessary to them, and my wife had agreed.  They refused to refund any of the fees for the service, and when I contacted the Franchise Owner, he hung up on me.
