Complaint Review: Texaco Xpress Lube

Went in for a brake job. They told me I would need a complete brake system replacement for $1400. To get me stay, they removed extra services and parts to get the price down to $922. Performed servce; put lug nuts back on too tightly. Shortly afterwards, I got a flat. When I went to take the tire off the car, all the lug nuts broke off.

Had to call a tow truck. Towed me to a station after hours; they had no replacement lug nuts. Had to get a rental car and come back the next day. Filed a complaint at the store; it got "lost." Brakes started to fail. Got in touch with district manager, who told me they would reimburse me the cost of my tire incident and fix my brakes (the day AFTER I got into an accident).

Came to find out they had not put a brake pad on my car the first time. They performed the replacement service. The district manager neither paid for my costs, provided me with insurance info, nor accepts or returns my calls! My brakes are failing again!
