Complaint Review: Texans Credit Union

I bought a new ford truck in 2004 (this is my 5th new vehicle) I bought it from Rockwall Ford and financed it through Texans Credit Union. In March I was 16 days late on my payment and Texans Reposessed the Truck. I was Completely astonished. I called Texans and they said I could not get the truck back and they wanted all of the money. I am at fault because I was late on my payment by 16 days. But I would have never believed that they would repo it in just a few days.

Later I found out that Texans had repoed over 30 cars that week. Ok they do have the right but most RESPECTABLE company's are a little more forgiving than that. I have heard that Texans is in a cash flow problem and is trying to generate cash. Just keep in mind when financing a truck what can happen to you if you go there. I had a truck in 2001 that had a payment 1 1/2 months overdue because of financial problems. When I called the finance people I made arrangements to catch them up and did.

I think Texans has very bad business practices.
