Texas Career Solutions Misrepresentation Dallas Texas
The Business advertises a service that purportedly accesses a "non advertised" job market. A resume and introduction letter is mailed to a business and within 72 hours you can expect a contact for interview from a company. In addition, the company provides a resume writing service that is included.
The service (Concierge) also includes identification of a web site for postions. Prior to contract signing, it is sold as a proprietary web site. The problems are listed below:
The letter campaign is blanketed without any filters. For example, letters were sent to Gentlemen's Clubs in Dallas, the Zoo, etc. With a resume summarizing financial services, the businesses were not a fit.
After two mailings there has been no calls for interviews as sold by the Company. The majority of responses refers you to their web site.
The purported proprietary web site is available through many other sites.
The follow-up with positons identified through the purported proprietary job web site through the Concierge Service was only initiated after I requested status. I also requested to meet with the Concierge staff but was told they were off-site. It appears there is no Concierge Staff.
Fortunately, the cost is only $900 and a percent of a signing bonus if exceed 10%. There are other companies like Chandler Hill that charges $11,000 plus a percent of the salary. Although a less expensive approach, there is a misrepresentation.

When a business is successful, they will always provide references or success stories. Ask if you can speak to anyone who recently was offered and accepted a position through their process. You will be provided statistics of successful placement, but you can not verify. Also, request to speak to the staff that is supporting your search. You are not provided the opportunity to speak to the staff who is presented to be working for your placement.

Still No Results

Still no results after one year of following the program. Although multiple mailings were reported by the company, there were no declines from the recipient as received during the first mailing. I was never able to determine if the subsequent mailings were actually sent. I was provided a listing of companies, but verification of mailing was not provided.
The program has not been succesful. There are no opinions included in this report, only facts.

There was initial miscommunication with the company and I am retracking my initial complaint. Mr. Miller has been quite supportive and is going the extra mile to assist me.
