As a customer of Texas Direct Auto I will say " Make sure you do your research first on vehicle you are  interested in". Find out if the title is from out of state/California. Make sure the title is not in an insurance companies name. Do a title history report on vehicle in the state where last registered and also do another title history report after you receive title and plates to insure that the documentation was not altered, you must wait 30 days from the time the title was issued to you. Texas Direct has very deep pockets and are fined for many violations that they do but whats paying a $500 fine if they made $2000 off you. They are not in buisness to help the customer but to mislead them into getting your money. Filing complaints is a hassle but in the end run the more complaints the more investigators will investigate. Dont bother with Stafford Police or with e-bay because I believe them to be in on helping with Texas directs scam. Depending on the scam/fraud they have done to you there are agencies out there to help. BBB of Houston, Texas DMV investigations, Tx Attorney General, Federal Trade Commision, and IC3 are a few agencies that can help. They may not be able to fix the problem you are having but the more reports the more they will look into whats going on at this dealership. I hope this help any other victim from this deceptive company.I too have been a victim and will not stop until I get them fined more than what I was screwed out of. Thank you and good luck.
