Complaint Review: Texas Horse Stalls ....of Waxahachie Texas Joel/Cathy Downs

 I gave Joel Downs/Cathy Downs from "Texas Horse Stalls" of Waxahachie Texas $25, 000.00 last September 2016 up front to install for us a Big 40x60 metal Barndomminium....and here we are a year later having to take this scam artist to court.... He had told us once our slab had been cured that he would have it up in 2 weeks...don't believe a word this man says , wish we had seen these other rip off reports on him before giving him our money, he told us all kinda excuses why he couldn't get out here and do our job , one after another and on and on month after month...he knew before taking our money we had a time frame to getting this done so we could move our disabled cousin in her husband now has cancer and is scared if he should die that she would have no place to go but and nursing home , so that I'd why we were going to up an apartment in our Barndominium for them to live here with us...Joel knew all of this and agreed before taking our money to have it done by at least December 31 of late year 2016 ...here we are in September of 2016 having to file on him and take him to court...please contact us or Ellis Co. sherrifs ...they want to hear your stories Shirley Labrecque of Waxahachie Texas
