Texas International Promotions is a rip off job. The tell you you can move up to management within a year and that you can make more money than you could ever imagine. What they don't tell you is anything about what they really do.

You start out at a first interview and they tell you if you stand out above their other candidates they will call you within the hour following your interview.

You are of course called in for a second time but they tell you to come in at 9:00 and plan on staying until 5:30. They say during this time you will get to do a day in their job. For me this included setting up a table in front of a Kroger in the 100 degree heat and sitting in direct sun for 8 hours. The entire time you are getting people to come over and give a "donation" to a non-profit like DARE. In return for their "donation", depending on the amount, they get a duffel bag or t-shirt or other items of that nature.

I ended up with a third degree sun burn on my face and neck since I was never told what I would be doing I had know idea to wear sunscreen. I was trapped outside for over 8 hours with this "trainer" scaming people to give money to him. They even show you how to trick people into thinking their getting some prizes for free when they are really charging them double.

Your in their car so you can't leave and then when you get back they tell you how good you were and they can't afford to pass you up as an employee. Don't fall for this. I am glad I read these reports on this site or else I might of ended up taking this job. You never move up and the 14.00 and hour they promise is bogus. You only make a comm. off of what you sell. You don't sell you don't get paid.

Don't take your chances with this company, they are liars, Nadia Mohamed, cell 404-644-2699and Keith Ceno, cell 678-634-6738 are the two who fed me lie after lie. The whole company is based on lies and the DO NOT tell "customers" the legal reason they are there. They lie to avoid losing an event and "legal" quarrels.

Before An Interview, Do Your Homework

#4Consumer Suggestion

I first learned of this company on CareerBuilder.com I almost drove several hours to interview with Texas International Promotions, Inc., aka Zephyr International Promotions. If you notice both names are listed in the Richardson, Tx, Arlington, Tx, & Plano, Tx area. Also only the Texas International Promotions, Inc. is registered with the Better Business Bureau, and the Zephyr name is not. Even so, the Texas name only has like a 36 month track record as listed on the BBB site, because I think that is as far back as the basic records go that are viewed by the public. So as you can imagine, this seemed fishy from the get-go.

Fortunately, after reading the reviews on this web site, I won't be making that drive after all. A special thank you goes out to ripoffreport.com & and thank you to all the consumers who commented on this company because there is little information about this company(I have checked). You saved me a lot of time and wasted effort.
