I'm in agreeance with Kristina. I actually took the job and just realized that it was pretty much a scam. I called a police officer to inquire about the company and he states, "DARE hasn't been around for a long time, why does this company have you doing this?". I stated to him that I didn't know, but I wanted to make sure that it was legit so I won't get into any trouble. So he stated "I'll do an investigation to make sure, but it sounds as if this company is using non-profit organizations to make money for themselves. Why would DARE need a third party to represent them? That doesn't make sense". Therefore, this company is being heavily investigated.

One thing I definitely did not like is the fact that they have you go on this Day Of Observation all day to see what they do and to see if you'll like it and they won't tell you it's a commission job until the later part of the day. If you decide that it's something you can't do and you want to leave, they will ask you to find your own way back to your car because they're not going to take you back.

Another thing that stood out is that this company WILL NOT reimburse you for your gas. You have to drive to their office, then drive to either Keller, TX, Euless,TX, Mesquite,TX, Desoto,TX Ft. Worth,TX, etc., to set up your booth and not get your money nack for gas. I have never known a commission job such as this one, who don't reimburse you for your gas. They also tell you that if it's burning degree weather or even if it's pouring rain and you don't have a tent, you still have to stand outside and sell those so called DARE products. I don't think its worth my day or my time so I left.

Therefore, please, please, please, be sure to investigate a company before working for them. You never know when it could be a scam. Especially when it's a company no one has ever heard of.
