Let me begin by stating that I was searching for a new team for my daughter when this incident happened. I have not been happy with the inconsistencies in money issues, this coach's training ability or the communication he has with the team and their parents.

My daughter joined this academy league in November of 2008. We played indoor soccer and joined the academy SDL league in the Spring.

Money has always been inconsistent with him changing his mind about how much is to be paid and owed at different times. I paid for my daughter to be on SDL (108.50 uniform)+($85.00) + the first month's practice and training fees ($60.00), indoor girls team ($60.00) and a 4 V 4 team ($65.00).

The girls indoor soccer never materialized and she was asked to "help out" the boys indoor team. Several of the SDL girls were asked to do so. None of the other girls paid a fee to "help out" this boys team. I asked the parents and several of the parents told me they did not pay to "help out" the boys team nor were they going to. The 4 V 4 team never materialized either. I asked for the fees of the 4 V 4 team and the girls indoor soccer team to be refunded to me as the monthly payment for practices and training for March and April.

My email was never answered regarding this matter. I assumed it would be taken care of. We arrived to play on Sunday March 29, 2009 and I was told unless we paid $60 for March's training fees my daughter could not play. I said that my fees for indoor soccer and the 4 V 4 team should be applied toward those training fees. I was told they would not be refunded. I was told she was "kicked off" the team. I asked for a refund of all fees paid I was told no. He embarrassed me, upset my daughter and has taken our money. I have found out he only charges people he knows have money and they foot the bill for the rest of the team.

He also has bad coaching practices. He talks about the kids and their parents behind their backs, he is horrible with communication and says he is going to do something and never follows through. He teaches bad sportsmanship by stacking games to win. He is constantly yelling and belittling players on the field, so much several referees have had to warn him. I should have known better when two of the best players from last year left the team upset and angry.

He told the parents it was beasue they were "all about winning and he didnt coach that way." His own daughter who plays on the team is always crying and refusing to play. She is also always "sick."

I feel my daughter and I are owed an apology and refund of our fees. If you are looking for a good team this is not the one.

COACH JOE IS A GREAT COACH ...

#3REBUTTAL Individual responds

Mon, July 13, 2009

Coach Joe has coached my son for over four years and has done a great job. He has taken the time to work with my son and other boys. I have not always had the money to pay for my son, but Coach Joe has always found a sponsor for my son sometimes being another parent on the team playing for my son fees.

I know that when it comes to his teams, he will always put the kids first, and any money issue last. I can see him not letting a kid play or taking any money as the lady claims above, He is not that kind of person.

He also coached my son in the Frisco Rec league and he got kind of grant for him from a help center in Frisco, so he could play.

Also it funny that this soccermon, does not put her name on the Report. Well caoch has only one girls team a U-8. If I were upset I put my real name, it seems maybe it's because she paid the coach with bad checks. She could have been honest and talk to him before getting him 3 or 4 bad checks.

Thanks, JET

This parent (MD) became upset when her was child was dropped from the team for reason that payment by check for three checks, amounting in the total of $ 253.50 were returned by her bank as "account closed".

Check# 1022 $60.00 1-16-2009 Fidelity Investments
Check# 1023 $108.50 1-16-2009 Fidelity Investments
Check# 1024 $85.00 1-16-2009 Fidelity Investments

Check# 1002 $ 160.00 11-08-2008 this check is being investigated by the Denton District Attorney for closed account.

She claiming to have have paid for other services, but she could never provide us with a check or proof that she paid for tournament, 4v4 and other fees. If anyone like to see return items by this person please feel free to contact me.

Futhermore, she did not pay her daughter's (SBD) dues for the months of March and April 2009 as stated in for her contact. For the total amount of $ 120.00. She then decided to use all types of excuses to not pay for her daughter's services and uniform on the return check items.

We were also informed that this mother is wanted for by the State of Texas for Theft By Check and other charges.

We are a non-profit Academy Soccer Club for youth and adults in the Frisco, Little Elm and The Colony Area. We have been in business since 2006 and have never had any problems, when it comes to service. Our coaches and club are members of
the NSSCA and USSF, for youth soccer leagues.

I understand if someone is unhappy with our coaching, but to accuse our organization of taking money is not something we do. Our clubs even offers severals grants per season for financially disadvantaged kids.
