I can't verify whether your story is true or not. It was written 3 years ago and I've been with the company only a few months now. What I can say is this: if your story is true, then I feel it was a result of bad management and terrible ideals by a company that has since been bought out, renovated from the inside out, and has built an entirely new structure - both in employee and customer services.

I've been with TSLCI for a few months now and I've loved everything about it. My co-workers are friendly and great to interact with. My supervisors are extremely helpful and personable. And my working conditions are pretty spectacular (I mean, it's not a big accounting or law firm, but hey, it's not bad for an insurance company). The company was bought out by a larger company out of California in 2013. Since then, not only has the company gorwn by 50%, but it has vastly improved it's employee and customer relations. The company does everything it can to take care of its employees and sometimes goes even beyond that. They offer benefits like anyone else, and most of their benefits start after only 30 days of working (most companies required 90 days of work before benefits will kick in).

Like I said, I've been here only a few months, but in that short time frame, I'm already being promoted within the company and will start my new job in a few weeks. As long as you work hard for the company and do your job, you will be rewarded, whether it be bonuses, new titles, or with food, your hard work will not go unnoticed.

Bad Experience with TSLC

So this guy runs a stop sign on MONDAY April 4th about 10 in the morning and hits my trailer and jackknives it into the rear panel of my truck. Trailer is non functional now and I have big a*s dent in panel of my truck. Not only did he run the stop sign that was on a residential street but had to of done it at a speed of 45-55 MPH AND he went around a
school bus at this speed to do so! He tries to give me insurance information so he can get to work but I tell him I am calling the police and I do. I did this BECAUSE I wanted a police report, I have learned that without a police report you have jack to prove YOUR story.

Police get there, he is issued a citation for running the sign and I am given a copy of the guys insurance card. I call 10 minutes later to file a claim so I can get the ball rolling. I allow them the rest of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and part of Thursday to do their investigation and give them time to contact me. PLENTY OF TIME! Thursday the lady asks me
what happened and I tell her, she is going over the details and asks me HIS name, I told her I didnt know it off top of my head without looking at the card or report and she very rudely told me she could not investigate anymore without that information!!!! So I fax the police report to them on Friday and I call but no answer I leave message and I called 3 times that day but no answer or a returned call!!! She calls me late friday evening and I couldnt get to phone in time and she leaves a message telling me that she never got the police report and she cant move forward without it! WHY SHOULD I SEND THE POLICE REPORT ANYWAYS??? I did send it but WHY should I? It is THEIR job to investigate! I call
Monday morning and no answer so I leave message telling her it has been one week since accident has happened and I NEED my trailer for my business. She calls a couple hours later to tell me that she doesnt have proof that THEIR customer was at fault, she claims HIS phone number is not a valid one and if they cant get ahold of him then the case is
dropped and I DONT get paid!!! I told her NONE of that matters because the proof is in my hands!!! I HAVE the police report that proves he is at fault and I asked why they dont have the copy I sent them., She told me that I should drop the whole thing and go through MY insurance company and the police report means nothing. I told her I should just
talk to an attorney and she got even more rude with me and said I SHOULD DO THAT and hung up on me! From day one this b***h has been very unprofessional and rude. I call back and tell them I DO NOT want to talk to her anymore and DEMANDED that I talk to HER supervisor or manager ANYBODY that she has to answer too. They send me to a guys voice mail and I leave a message. He calls me about hour later and I get out of my mouth MAYBE 2 sentences and he starts grilling me and telling me that I am refusing to cooperate and send them police report. I told him I sent it and tried to explain to him that it isnt MY place to even deal with all that and he AGAIN cut me off rudely and started to raise his voice
with me telling me that they arent obligated to send ANYBODY out to look at my damaged property and they dont have to pay me anything. I told him I was seeing a pattern with their company and it is full of rude dumbasses and he OVER the phone tells me to come on down to his office and show him how big a boy I am!!! I asked him where he was and OF COURSE the b*****d is 3 hours away from me and he KNOWS it. As soon as he tells me he is in Richardson the "phone warrior" hangs up on me too! I can not believe that any company would have the nerve to be that rude
and disrespectful to anybody! If I thought the coward would actually face me liek a man I would take a 3 hour trip to see  him! soon.

One of many horror stories working for TSLCI

Previous customer, and a close friend of a previous Agent of TSLCI, my heart goes out to those who have been terminated or released for whatever reason from this company.

It is NOT a quality company from an consumer point of view. Coverage is poor, and the cost expensive. Working conditions are poor at best. As an Agent you are told to market at all times. The sale is the most important aspect. You sell, and the company reaps the benefits. Be aware of their webpage, as employees (some) state it is a 'wonderful' company to work for. Trust the many (ex) employees who would state that it is anything but 'wonderful'.

Upper management is poor at best. 'G**by, is well know for being a horrible manager. She stays, because she lives and breathes the company.

Working for this company is not a big assest to your resume. If anything, its an hindrance. Far too many great agents have suffered the consequences from working at this company. If you are terminated or decide to quit, there is a wonderful life away from this company.
