Complaint Review: Texstar Properties

I own rental property in the Fort Hood area and live overseas. Texstar properties has been a complete nightmare from day one. I wrote them one check for all of the security repair deposits for all of my units. They could not add up the money, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS WRITTEN ON THE MEMO LINE. The staff in their typical unprofessional, incompetent manner claimed I never paid this when I turned in the property management forms, even though I had the scan proving that they cashed the check. They don't have the basic skills to add.

Whenever tenants failed to pay or paid late, they never notified me. I had to stay on them like white on rice. When the tenant paid, they never paid me on time. If I inquired by calling from overseas, they either HIGHLY rude...i.e. yelling at you and acting like they were bothering them by calling, or put you on hold forever. They NEVER Replied to emails. The last straw was when I had two eviction and they didn't tell me until two months after the fact. When I asked about the details of their screw up, they couldn't get their story straight. This especially the case with Kyle Wheatly.

They breached our contract by never doing any inspections and therefore I sent certified mail complaints and now have to pursue a lawsuit to recover damages and get my deposits back. I would love to get together with others to get these con-artists banned from Fort Hood. They take advantage of deployed soldiers and their family. I'm also interested in pursuing a class action lawsuit.
