Complaint Review: TGA Grants & Crush Marketing

It seems I'm not the only one scammed by TGA Grants (and Crush Marketing).

I signed-up online for the $1.97 Starter kit and I skimmed the 'terms and conditions' what indicated a trial period after which you would be charged. I never received a confirmation email with a user-name and password. Therefore, I could not sign-on to the site during the trial period to determine if I found the product useful. Furthermore, they never even sent the starter kit!

It is a shame that TGA Grants/Crush Marketing scams unassuming 'do-gooders' but their particular scam is partially legal. What's not fair or legal, I believe, is that they do not list their phone number on their website and they don't respond to email querries in that trial period. So I was unable to call and inquire about the fact that I had no intro packet or sign-on info during the trial period. It wasn't until my credit card bill that I had their phone number...at which time the trial period of 7 days was over (of course).

Witholding information is illegal...period. Especially when it involves a contract that people agree to while providing personal information.
