My husband and I are newly married and were stationed here in Hawaii. The cost of living is very high here so we can't go out and eat very often. My husband has a low rank, so we don't have much spending money, but as a treat to ourselves being newlyweds we wanted to go and have a nice dinner at a place were familiar with. So we went to TGI Fridays. We had priced everything so that we would know about what our meal would cost and we could also have a few drinks and leave a good tip.

Well first of all the waitress barely checked on us and when she did it was more like a run by (How ya doing?) not stopping to hear the answer and when asked for A1 steak sauce she brought an empty bottle. Then I had to flag her down to get a refill for my husband and order another drink for myself. And by that time our meals were almost completely done.

When the bill was brought to us it was higher than expected so I looked at the breakdown and noticed that our meals were priced a few dollars higher than they were advertised on the menu and so was our appitizer, the drinks were also higher than the waitress told me they would be. When I brought this to the attention of the waitress she first said hold on and I'll get a menu and check.

She brought the menu and we pointed out the discrepancys, she said its this computer back here it charged the wrong prices, so she said hold on and I'll get my manager to fix it. She came back a minute later and said there going to fix it in the back so off she went. She returned a few minutes later and dropped everything on the table and walked off. They had corrected the 2 dinner prices but not the appitizer and the drinks. We were upset by that, but my husband didn't want to say anything so we just paid and left.

I've been a waitress in the past many times in fact and I would have made sure that my customers were
satisfied before they left and I deffinantly would have made sure the corrections to their bill was made before returning to the table. And although we were upset we still left a tip for her because I know what it's like to live on tips.
