Complaint Review: TGL Great Fun

TGL Great Fun Called to cancel after mistakenly letting one month get billed, got a cancellation number and name, but then just 5 days later, got another "monthly" charge on debit card! Internet

I called to cancel this membership after I found one month fee already taken out of my bank account through my debit card. Okay, so I call and cancel I got a cancellation number and the persons name who assisted me. Only 5 days later another charge is taken out of my bank account, I call again to say that I had cancelled, but was told the membership is still there and that my cancellation number was "invalid" and they were taking out the "monthly" fee.

Now I say even if I had not cancelled, how can the monthly fee be taken out of my account only 5 days apart? First on 6/20/2007 and then on 6/25/2007? The fact is I did cancel and I didn't understand how I got a cancellation number that wasn't considered valid?? The whole thing was not making any sense, and I wanted my second charge refunded ASAP, that I was told was going to take 10-15 days!! What ripoff and a joke!

Less than 5 days apart they can take money out, but it takes 10-15 days to refund it? Do not except any deal from this company! It looks like I was supposed to get a $20.00 cash rebate for signing up and I never received the email that was to tell me how to get it and I never received it! So tecnically they owe me that too, not just one month's membership fees.
