Tgw (the Golf Warehouse ripoff tgw website advertises a "100% low price guarantee" that states "find lower price and we will match it It's that simple!", but selectively choose who they will match Wichita Kansas
TGW sells golf equipment on their website "tgw.com". They advertise that they have a "100% Low Price Match Guarantee". Their advertisement states, as I quote: "Find a lower price and we will match it! It's that simple!". I was going to purchase TaylorMade rac OS2 irons, which TGW advertises for $599.
Searching other internet websites, I discovered that I could purchase the exact product for $549 at "golfio.com", and $555 at both "egolfdirect.com" and "golfclubsforless.com". I called "tgw" at 888-838-5551 to purchase the golf clubs described above, believing they would match one of the other three vendors referenced herein. I was told by TGW's customer representative (on three separate occasions) that TGW would not match the prices of "golfio.com", "egolfdirect.com", or golfclubsforless.com" because these companies wre not on the "approved" price-matching vendor list.
As mentioned in the first paragraph above, TGW's price match policy advertisment states: "Find a lower price and we will match it! It's that simple!" Well, it's not that simple. In my opinion, their price guarantee statement is deceptive and constitutes false advertising.
