Complaint Review: Thane

Thane H2o Mop purchased thru Thane caught on FIRE. This happened during the one year warrantee. They are only replacing the main body and I have to pay the shipping and handeling. Considering the potential severity of the problem with their product, I felt they should have done MORE! Internet

I purchased the h2o mop thru Thane on the web. The mop caught on fire as my 8 month pregnant daughter in law was using it. That scared her . When this happened the mop was still under warrentee. Because I did not have time to contact them untill 3 days after the warrentee expired, only 3 days, they are only sending me a new main body for the mop, whcih I have to pay the $14.00 shipping fee. Under the possible severity of the circumstances, I felt they should have either reimbursed me in full or sent a complete new mop at no charge. I had to talk to 3 customer service reps, and a supervisior would not come to the phone when I asked to speak to one. I felt they could have been more accomodating.
