I received the application for a $15,000 Gold Card Visa from First National Credit, Pacific Park Plaza, 27101 Aliso Creek Rd, Unit 126, Aliso Viejo, CA 92656 in today's mail. I was skeptical and apparently for good reason.

Thanks to this site and the wonderful technology of the internet, I was spared the agony of the mess so many of you described. I did take notice that the letter was signed simply: MR. WILLIAM ROBERTS, APPROVAL DEPARTMENT.

This caught my eye because there was no title preceding the name. I would just like to say thank you for taking the time to voice your anger with such companies or I too, would have fallen victim to the SCAM.
