That Shabby Guy Ryan Paid to paint dresser - paid in full - he has disappeared again Fort Worth Texas
Ryan paints and refinishes furniture. He painted a desk for me last year and did a great job for me. He came highly recommended by a friend. At the end of 2013, he just disappeared and I read several complaints about him on Facebook. He reappeared a few months later claiming he had been dealing with personal issues. I decided to let him refinish a dresser since he had done so well on my first piece. I delivered the dresser to him on April, 26, 2014. I wrote him a check for $350, which was payment in full. He assured me the dresser would be completed by May 10, 2014. I have sent him several messages on Faceboom and by text. After not hearing from him for several weeks, he finally responded to a Facebook message and said I could pick up the dresser on July 13 or 14. He has now stopped responding to texts or messages and I do not have my dresser. Now that I've read he's done this to several others, I regret giving him another chance and referring him to friends. I will be taking legal action, but please be warned not to trust him with your money or your furniture.
