I have purchased products online for 5 years without a hitch, but this one has given me a problem.I purchased a hard drive from this company.Upon receipt of the product,I had noticed it was improperly packed.The ESD wrapping was partially opened,and the unit was packaged with bubble wrap sitting in styrofoam peanuts. This packaging procedure can cause static and damage the drive according to an IBM representative whom I contacted. Upon notifying this their "Customer Service" through email, which took several weeks to reply mind you, they stated that the drive is OK despite the packaging technique.I requested an RMA number to return the unit for a refund, to which they replied that I did'nt have a good enough reason to return it. They flatly refused to take their product back despite my concern. WWW.ACMICRO.COM has poor service, poor product shipment, and poorly trained customer service reps. CAVEAT EMPTOR-Let the Buyer Beware.Think twice before purchasing from this company, PERIOD.
