Our refrigerator/freezer was not staying cold. We researched a few companies on line and decided on The Appliance Guy, Lemuel Elias Gonzalez. He seemed very personable and explained everything he was doing. He had to defrost the freezer as it was freezing up and thats what made the cooling stop. We were told it was the Board, so he replaced it and told us that we were actually very lucky because when the board goes bad usually the thermometer goes bad as well. He told us he checked everything else and everything is working great. We paid him $300. 

Two weeks later the same exact problem is happening. We called him back out and this time he said our Heater Assembly was burnt out. This was $65. My boyfriend was home and was watching him work. He noticed the part he was going to put in looked used and only had one bulb where as the part he was removing had two bulbs. He asked why was he putting a used part in our frig. and the answer was, don't worry this is going to fix the problem and if it doesn't I will come back and fix it for no charge. 24hrs later the same exact thing is happening and my boyfriend called Lemuel back and was told that he can not come over right now because his wife was admitted to the hospital but he will come as soon as possible. 
That was two weeks ago. We ended up googling the part #, ordered it on line for $25 and found out he put an old Heater Assembly in as the double bulb has replaced the single bulb for some time now. This guy still has not called us back and will not answer when we call him.

hello, i live in spring hill Florida and i also contacted this company the Appliance Guy Lemuel Elias Gonzalez to repair my whirlpool dryer because it was not working. when i turned it on it was not sensing anything so i called this man and he came out and i paid him $360 .he said that the control panel was bad explained everything to me .also i didn't have the cash on me at the time. he was at my house and he said he could go ahead and order the part and i meet his wife a few days later at burger king in Hudson and gave her the money and a few days after that he called and said the part came in and he came back to my house and put in the new panel .the dryer worked for 2 days and then begin doing the same thing. so I tried to call him to see what the problem was to get him to come back out and his phone number was disconnected. so I went online and found his address and there was another phone number on the website. I called the number and his wife answered the phone and said that he was out of town that he would be back in a few days. a few days later he called me back and came back to my house he checked everything again and my boyfriend came home a few mins. after he got here and watched him check the dryer. he then told us that it was the fuse in the back of the dryer was bad so he went out to his van and he got a new fuse. it was in a sealed package my boyfriend watched him put it in and it worked just fine after that. he charged us another $40 and then he left. this was all in the beginning of august .now the dryer is doing the same thing again. it worked for about 4 weeks and now I tried to call him to see if he could come back and look at it again and once again his phone numbers are all disconnected. So I am out $400 and the dryer cost me $1500 and it's only 2 years old. If anyone gets any information regarding this man and his company please let me know!!! Thank you.
