I attended The Art Institute of Philadelphia from 2005-2006 for 4 quarters. The ENTIRE 4 quarters I was there I DID NOT have a working HVAC unit. No heat or AC was provided to me, which violates Philadelphia housing laws and my student contract. My roommates and I complained many times, and only a few attempts to fix the unit were made. The school was very aware the HVAC didn't work, I have proof of this. They even went as far as to bolt down the windows, I caught the man and pleaded with him not to do it. I am angry that they still demand I pay them, when they did not provide me with proper housing and violated laws. They also lied about the transferability of credits and quality of education during the enrollment process. Their credits do not transfer and they do not disclose this to students. I asked and I was told yes they will. Came to find out that was not true. DO NOT attend this school, they will hurt you more than help you in the end.
