The Mazda Miata I purchased literally didn't drive it 60 miles on Saturday before this beauty broke down on the side of the road. After towing and repairs, I'm looking at $1,500 to get her back.

It's been almost a week since I purchased the car, but I've only driven it for AN HOUR. I understand I did purchase a used vehicle and there is no contractual obligation to cover repairs that occur AN HOUR after purchase, but I've always assumed there is a code of ethics to do what's right anyway. The company told me they won't do anything for me and it's the risk for purchasing a used car.

It gets better- although Dylan had agreed to include a comprehensive warranty with the purchase of the vehicle on Saturday (which would have covered the issue), I was told the policy couldn't be actually written up on the weekend- warranty guy later told me that was a lie. Naturally now any warranty issued won't cover claims that occurred before. Unfortunately I trusted Dylan to honor his word and didn't feel the need to have him write down what he promised. The dealership has now denied ever agreeing to this and holds firm to their as-is contract: even if the vehicle you purchase won't even get you home.

If I can save anyone from making the same mistake and trusting this dealership, maybe my pain won't be in vain. This was our first experience purchasing a car from a dealership and we were dumb and trusting, now we know that not everyone is fair and honest.

This was the worst experience I've had making a large purchase, and the support afterwards made me even more heartbroken that I decided to get my Miata from this company.
