The owner is extremely rude and difficult to work with and constantly talks down to both clients and employees. Medication is not always done regularly due to her inability to manage time well and give employees notice of which animals need what medications. She tends to give a noticeable idea that the money made from adoptions is more important than the dogs themselves. She also does not pay employees on time sometimes going far beyond the STATE LAW REQUIRING EMPLOYERS TO PAY EMPLOYEES WITHIN 72 HOURS AFTER THEIR RESIGNATION. Would strongly recommend anyone thinking about adopting from The Barking Lot, volunteering, or working for The Barking Lot to completely avoid. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY, OR SANITY AT THE BARKING LOT IN EL CAJON!
