I want to preface this by saying, had I known about this site at the time of the incident, I would have filed this sooner.

I ordered a knife from The Blade Shop in June 2008. They were quick to take my money, but neglected to mention on the product's page that they did not have the item in stock. This was a knife that retails for over $300.

I was not informed of the lack of stock, until 2 days after they charged my credit card. It was a great price on the knife, so I agreed to give them the 2 weeks to get the knife in. I had to contact them 3 weeks later, since they have a problem with customer service. I was informed it would be another 2 weeks. And then another 2 weeks.

After the 3rd delay, I cancelled the order. In a month I had not seen my money returned. I had to send a strongly worded email to them, threatening to sue them, and report them to the FBI and the Tennessee Attorney General, in order to receive my money.

Strangely enough, after receiving my money back, the next day, fraudulent charges started appearing on my credit card, and the products that were purchased were shipped to my mailing address. Fortunately, my bank took care of the charges for me, so it was no big hassle. The total of the charges, were the amount of my purchase. It could have been a coincidence.
