Robyn Mylewski is now going by the name of Robyn Milef. She has posted several ads on craigslist promising an apprenticeship program for $1400. After you pay you become a "makeup artist". The phone number is still the same, address still the same. It's sad that people will go to such lengths to rip decent hard working people off that are trying to better their lives. My advice if you want to become a makeup artist, freelance and build your own portfolio or attend a licensed and accredited cosmetology school.

I am the owner of the studio and Robyn did air brush for my gals when I was doing their photo session. She did wonderful work for me. She has moved on to a different career. We have nothing to do with her training or her past. Kim (the owner of the loft)

This report is false. Robyn has trained many makeup artists that have built a successful makeup career. Cosmetology school simply touches lightly on makeup, whereas a one-on-one training experience gives you focused, individualized attention. The apprenticeship is no different than taking makeup lessons from a makeup artist which is a service provided by salons and spas everywhere! Robyn has references upon references! The Boudoir Loft is an entirely separate organization. The Boudoir Loft is a photography studio and a photographer runs the company.
Again, it is unfortunate that a person can be victimized by this type of factless report and information.
