This company which is currently under investigation in Massachusetts, and has been ordered to cease and desist any collection attempts in that state, claims to have acquired old debt usually past the statute of limitations, and then tries to extort money from unaware individuals. They filed a judgement against me for $8500.00 without ever notifying me that they had a suit against me.

Also the debt was well beyond the 7 year statute when the judgement was filed. They continue to add interest dailey. This is there standard procedure. Now I have to hire a laywer and spend a fortune to fight this. They are so bad, there is a website dedicated to report about them and to offer help to victimized individules. The site is www.truthaboutcadle.com.

This is an Attorneys site that actually fought Cadle personally, and now helps others. The courts in Florida should be more aware, and not make it so easy for scum like this to use the courts to extort money from innocent people.

Avoid banks like Fidelity National Bank that routinely deal with Cadle.

A further thought. Nobody goes into a loan agreement with the thought of defaulting. But it happenes sometimes when people get sick, lose their jobs, die, or just face unforeseen hard times. So one thing to help avoid companies like The Cadle Company when unforeseen financial difficulties arise is to avoid lending institutions and banks that regularly deal with this kind of Predatory Collector. Fidelity National Bank has sold Groups.....Yes GROUPS of charged off loans to The Cadle Company. Fidelity is well compensated for these groups, and cares nothing about what happens to the companies and individuals they sell off. And once Cadle gets ahold of the debt, they lie, mislead courts, hide assignments, file false judgements after time has expired, etc. So avoiding banks like Fidelity, may just save you more financial hardship if you experience financial problems.

I am glad to see at leat 2 other poeple agree, and maybe have had similiar attacks done to them.

One EXTREMELY IMPORTANT thing I wish to point out about The Cadle Company, is they tell the courts they own the debt, when in fact they do not. They are a collection agency in disguise, the rights to the debts, whether valid or not, are actuall owned by secret partnerships like "DAN Joint Venture III, LP", or "Atlanta Joint Venture",
etc.

Cadle fraudulently represents themselves as the owner, they are not, they own nothing, and when you counter sue, it does no good, as all assets are owned by the secret partnerhips. This is a crooked, illegal, fraudulant, unfair collection company. They openly lie, decieve, and mislead courts.

This could have been a debt from a bankruptcy

These types of collection companies somehow are given these debts after the 7 year mark of bankruptcies. Mine will hit 7 years this December. Unfortunately my bankruptcy was due to a business that failed during the 80's and I tried to keep it afloat with my own good credit, which I could not. I had no choice but to protect my own home when I put the business into bankruptcy and file personally also. Thankfully, I have found this site and am prepared for companies like this one to start hitting me up in January for the old debts. I now know how to deal with them with cease and desist orders, which Dave should send to them immediately. Do not form an opinion on someone until you know all the facts, that is totally unfair.

IN ANSWER TO THE REBUTTAL ABOUT PAY YOUR BILLS.
IN THIS COUNTRY WE ARE PROTECTED BY LAWS, AND ALL OF US ARE BOUND TO OBEY THESE LAWS, EVEN HUGE COMPANIES THAT PREY ON UNSUSPECTING VICTIMS. IT IS WRONG NOT TO PAY A DEBT, IT IS ALSO WRONG TO ILLEGALLY TRY AND COLLECT MONEY FROM AN INDIVIDUAL. CADLE COMPANY IS NATIONALLY KNOWN TO TRY AND COLLECT OLD, EXPIRED DEBT FROM PEOPLE THAT HAVE HAD HARD TIMES. THEY ARE NOT THE ORIGINAL DEBTOR, THEY JUST BUY WROTEOFF DEBT FROM BANKS, AND USE UNFAIR COLLECTION METHODS, AND HAVE EXTORTED MILLIONS FROM COMPANIES AND INDIVUALS.

SO WHAT IS MORE WRONG, A PERSON THAT HAD HARD TIMES, POSSIBLE DUE TO HEALTH REASONS, OR A HUGE COMPANY THAT HAS BEEN SUSPENDED FROM OPERATING IN AT LEAST 1 STATE FOR THEIR FRADULANT COLLECTION ACTIVITIES ON COMPANIES AND INDIVUDALS, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE ORIGIONAL DEBT WAS NOT EVEN OWED TO THEM? GO TO WWW.TRUTHABOUTCADLE.COM AND THEN YOU MIGHT HAVE A DIFFERENT VIEW.

Next time be more responsible and pay off your debt. Why does anyone care for you? You borrowed money, did not pay it off, and now you are suffering the consequences.
