The Coaches Corner does not monitor their food supply. the kitchen is filthy. The bread is completely covered in mold, the beef has VERY obviously gone bad. There are live cockroaches running around under the tables and a few dead ones too. Rats are abundant in the kitchen and their droppings can be found throughout the restaurant at all times! when the manager (JOHN COX)was approached about these issues he only apologized after he was approached twice.

He (JOHN COX)did not address the entire table of guests to apologize only the person who had to track him down and wait for him to get off the telephone. The apology was an empty one and he, JOHN COX, obviously did not care what was happening in that restaurant. He should be arrested for endangering people's health, and this poor excuse for a restaurant should be shut down immediately!

DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET VIOLENTLY ILL (it's pretty much guaranteed)!!!!

The health department has been notified, if you care about yourself, eat ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!

i believe it Alot of restaurants on the islands have rat infestations and bug problems

#2Consumer Suggestion

I lived in Savannah for about ten years (wilmington island) and completely believe the claim. Alot of restaurants on the islands have rat infestations and bug problems. Not only that, they violate every health code you can think of. I personally worked at the Oyster Bar on the island for a while. We made salad with our bare hands, no lie......servers, the same hands that we wipe tables and exchange money with. It's sister restaurant, Pearl's, literally has had rats fall from the rafters onto tables that people were dining at. This happened on more than one occassion. If there is a positive side to corporate restaurants it would be that they normally comply with health codes, beware of the privately owned restaurants of Savannah. They are not all bad, just the five I have worked at.
