The Collectory ,Sarah Soltani and Adriana Angelini, are a fraudulent business Beware of these scammers; they will take your money and you they send you an empty envelope San Francisco California

I purchased a $40,000 Birkin from a scamming business called 'The Collectory (www.the-collectory.com)  She told me the only payment option they offered was a wire transfer, and I foolishly transferred the money into their bank account. A couple of days later they emailed me a tracking number, which appeared to relate to a delivery to an address outside Boston. Initially I thought this might be a USPS error, but then the tracking status changed to 'delivered'. And I sure as hell had not received my $40,000 Birkin.

The tracking number referred to a letter (NOT a parcel) deliberately sent to a different address for no other reason so that these scimbag thieves could supply me with a tracking number and claim my parcel had been misdirected. When I tracked down this letter, the business it had been sent to said it was just an empty envelope.

I rang them and asked them to explain and they feigned ignorance. They then obviously immediately blocked my telephone number as every single call I subsequently made remained unanswered.

I reported this to my bank and the FBI.

Beware! They will steal your money and send you an empty envelope.

So this report was actually written by Filip Lademacher who is a known scammer. You can read his shady history here: https://www.theguardian.com/money/2004/nov/17/business.scamsandfraud

Now, his has dedicated the his life to sell Birkins online. Sadly, he doesn't actually sell any bags just scams people out of money with his websites jpmarant.com and simplybirkin.com . His MO is the one he accueses The-Collectory of, funnily enough. We wrote a blog post about him and his fraudelent business, and that is the reason he filed the report. You can read our post here: https://the-collectory.com/blogs/the-handbook/the-biggest-worry-of-online-shopping-how-to-avoid-getting-scammed
