#16UPDATE EX-employee responds

Wed, October 14, 2009

Hello everyone,

I, firsthand, know that The Credit Card Solution and Robert Lindsey were frauds.

I worked for him/them for a couple of months, right before the AG's office shut him down.

I can equivocably confirm that everything promised in "the program" was not true, especially any kind of legal help.

There were and have not been any attorneys overseeing the cases that came into the office.   At best, these were/are being handled in a very sloppy manner by a paralegal and Mr. Lindsey, neither of which has a license to practice law.  (When I first started working there, I actually bought into the lies that there were attorneys that were overlooking and monitoring these cases.   WRONG).   This company is majorly doing unauthorized practice of law.

The whole thing made me very nervous and then outraged at the way people were being lied to, so I quit.

Texas Attorney General Abbott Charges Houston Debt Invalidation Firm with Unlawful Conduct

#16Consumer Comment

Wed, July 15, 2009

HOUSTON - Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott today charged a Houston-based credit repair firm with violating the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act. The state's enforcement action names Jubilee Financial Solutions LP, also known as The Credit Card Solution (TCCS) - a self-proclaimed debt invalidation business - its parent company, Jubilee Financial Management LLC, and the companies' owner, Robert Mitchell Lindsey.
Court documents filed by the attorney general requested an asset freeze, which was granted by a Harris County district judge. The state sought the asset freeze because investigators believe the defendants are improperly withholding $500,000 in customers' payments that should have been applied to debt relief services.
Attorney General's lawsuit against Credit Card Solutions
Through various Web sites - including www.thecreditcardsolution.com - the defendants claimed they could eliminate credit card and other debts by helping customers fight credit reporting agencies, dispute debts and sue debt collectors. The defendants also promised access to legal services, which they claimed could yield monetary damages from lawsuits against debt collectors.
Marketing materials obtained by state investigators shows the defendants claimed their debt invalidation program can eliminate customers' debt in as little as 12 to 18 months by relying upon federal consumer protection laws. In videos on the defendants' Web site, Lindsey claims that TCCS has gotten rid of $150 million of credit card debt.
According to the state's enforcement action, the defendants are unlawfully operating an unregistered credit services organization (CSO). Under the Texas Credit Services Organization Act, CSOs must register with the Secretary of State and obtain a surety bond or surety account. The defendants have done neither.
TCCS also offers an Affiliate Information Package online, which gives interested individuals the opportunity to market and sell the defendants' services. However, court documents filed by the state indicate the defendants' affiliate program is subject to the Texas Business Opportunity Act, which requires vendors to register with the Secretary of State and obtain surety bonds or surety accounts. The state's enforcement action charges TCCS with failing to comply with those requirements.
The state's enforcement action also charges the defendants with multiple Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA) violations, including not providing services as advertised and withholding information about goods or services when entering into a transaction.
The state seeks penalties of up to $20,000 per violation of the DTPA, restitution for Texans harmed by the defendants' business practices, and attorneys' fees. Texans who believe they have been deceived by similar fraudulent business practices may call the Office of the Attorney General's toll-free complaint line at (800) 252-8011 or file a complaint online at www.texasattorneygeneral.gov.

Lindsey, TCCS, Jubilee kept $469,000 of CCDN money

#16Consumer Suggestion

Tue, July 14, 2009

As you likely know, the Texas AG has sued these guys and frozen their assets. According to the official press release, it was because (debt elimination scam) CCDN complained to the TXAG that (debt elimination scam) The Credit Card Solution scammed them out of $469,000 from new CCDN customer victims that he was supposed to pass on, but just pocketed it. (duh--Lindsey is a career con man, so CCDN expected him to do what?) This is like Billy the Kid complaining that Jesse James ran off with his cut of train robbery proceeds. Let us hope that TXAG is not as naive as they seem to be at this point, because that money belongs to my clients!

Dmillerart produces Bob Lindsey's videos

#16Consumer Suggestion

Wed, May 27, 2009

Y'know Dave, Google has been invented, so I don't know who you think you're fooling. "Dmillerart" doesn't get around to mentioning that he produces Bob Lindsey's videos and almost for sure makes money right along with Bob Lindsey, aka Robert Lindsey or Robert M. Lindsey or as I like to call him Robert M. "Bob" Lindsey. Here's the word-for-word transcript of "So-called Christian Debt Counseling," the funniest one:

"Perhaps you've seen websites that advertise Christian debt counseling or nonprofit debt counseling. Be careful. A name can be deceiving. Number one, only people can be Christians, not companies, not corporations, and the fact that someone claims to be nonprofit doesn't necessarily mean that they're so. A lot of times what we find is that many of these organizations are wolves in sheep's clothing, clothing themselves in these terms, Christian, nonprofit, as a means of fleecing the flock. Be very careful. I'm a believer, I'm a follower of Jesus, but do business with me because what I say makes sense. Now I'll be happy to pray with you and minister to you in any way I can. But do business with me because I can help get you out of debt. We've got a process that actually works. That's what makes the difference. It's like if you had brain cancer and I have a surgeon to operate on you. It might be important that he be a Christian, yes, but probably what's more important is that he knows what he's doing and he's the best surgeon available. Wouldn't you agree, that's the case here."

You guessed it-- in this video, and all others I can find from The Credit Card Solution, Bob Lindsey is wearing, yup, a nice ... shiny ... Christian ... cross. In law enforcement, this is known as "A Clue."

Transcripts of over 20 of Bob's videos, and many pages of documents, and much more, are available through PACER, case number 09cv81 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.

Bob Lindsey should admit that he is a Fraud

#16Consumer Suggestion

Fri, May 22, 2009

Bob Lindsey is a non attorney giving legal advice illegally to many of his victimized customers. Bob Lindsey is a marketer with no lawyers network, and his website lies are so outrageous like having eliminated $150,000,000 in CC debt for 6000 clients...lol......I suggest someone call the Texas AG and have a CPA go in and do an audit of Bobby Lindsey and his suspect claims!

What people will find out is that Bob Lindsey is a criminal with the ethics of a sociopath.

Let's review the previous comment.

"To me it only makes sense that if you are seriously in trouble with debt and are in danger of being sued by creditors, then you need legal help. And who, I ask, has had more experience with these issues than CCDN?"

Yes, it all made sense to me also. Sounded like the perfect solution. Very well presented & believable. I needed it all...legal help-experience & was "in danger" of being sued. All it required was due diligence on my part, which for the most part, as far as clearing up my problems, proved to be useless. Legal help is what I thought - and was further led to believe I was getting for over the past 2 almost 3 years. Experience? It "appeared" to be there, but what do I know, I'm not a paralegal. It really looked great in the beginning, very impressive. Tracey & I had several conversations. Really kept me busy, very busy. We were finally on our way to relieve some of the horrific stress. We were thrilled.

Then the lawsuits began.......first time I'd ever seen the inside of a court room. Oh, we were kept very busy then as well. Lots of filings and communication with CCDN, the courts and the debt collection attorney's. Three judgments later - came the bank garnishments, wage garnishments, tax return garnishments, property lein,,,ect. And I thought the stress was high before we started!

Experience? Yes it has been quite an experience, however, the experience noted above is more of what I was led to believe that I would see. In fact to think that I paid to have this all done to me. Since then I have heard the judgments are being cleared through the courts and a number of other sqeaky claims-for almost a year now. What I haven't heard is the truth. Nor have I had a response from Greg Britt, the saleman who sold me this nightmare.

By the way, I am not alone. I am not the only person to have a bad experience with CCDN and surprised? still having it! I have posted a prior report refering to this whole ordeal being much like the "Great OZ". By the way, that is precisely when I was informed that my judgments were being cleared "through the courts". You may want to know why I am still a client? Well, that's because I paid them alot of money for what I have received so far. And I am in much deeper now then when I started. So it is my intention to see to it that they either show me the "experience" or show me the "money" ;-)

And this comment as well:
"More importantly, he has no credible facts or arguments to back up his allegations."

While Paul may not, I do. So if you are an employee, dealing with CCDN on a regular basis please inform Tracey Webster & Linda Johnson (Greg Britt/Phil Manger/Robery Lock/Mrs Lock, ect) that I am still waiting for that 48 hour response to an issue presented far too many times, as of 2/3/2009. Not to mention the missing attachment for the third complaint outline which was allegedly filed 5/3/2007. Customer service please.

Take Paul Cohen's Reports With A Grain Of Salt

#16UPDATE Employee

Fri, February 06, 2009

Paul Cohen, the author of this report, is hardly an impartial critic of CCDN and The Credit Card Solution. He has a big axe to grind due to his termination as a rep for CCDN several years ago and he is promoting his own "solution" that is very suspect to say the least. In a recent post he called Bob Lindsey, President of The Credit Card Solution, "the devil in disguise." (A bit over the top, don't you think?) More importantly, he has no credible facts or arguments to back up his allegations. Just name calling. To me it only makes sense that if you are seriously in trouble with debt and are in danger of being sued by creditors, then you need legal help. And who, I ask, has had more experience with these issues than CCDN? As for Paul Cohen's credibility, I suggest you check out HIM on RipOff report or Google his name.
