I changed my mind about debt consolidation. I left my contact a message and he somehow lost my message. He claims he never received it. I was told I had to submit a letter of cancellation. I was never called to know about this letter. No one from this company ever called to me to take all my all my credit card account information. I sent the letter of cancellation after talking to two people from the Credit Exchange.

I assumed after verbally and physically sending the faxed letter, I was all set. Not until I received a statement from the bank showing that the same day I cancelled this consolidation, that they proceeded to take my money out my account anyway. The program was not even completed yet, considering they did not have all my information to pay my credit cards. I could not believe they went ahead and took out the 300.95 fee when

I cancelled the program and specifically told them that I had already paid my credit cards for the dates due. The agreement states that you have 72 hours to cancel from the time they take the money. Considering I wrote a letter stating I did not want to do this at all and they took the money anyhow and that I sent the letter the same day they proceeded to take the money out of my account, I should get that money back.
