Me and my fiance have been renting a room for 3 months now. When we moved in they windows were not set in correctly, basically just sitting on the ledge. My girlfriend closed the bathroom door and the window came very close to her foot, shattering on the floor in front of her. Since then i have been bit by spiders, i have found numerous cockroaches, and of course best of all, there is no heat. In Florida Statute chapter 83 part 2 explains clearly the rights of the tenants.
