She began on the site 11/24/2010 with a 2 week deliverable guarantee.
3 weeks later the site was not complete and inferior. The site was rushed and I didnt even receive a mock up which was promised to me a few days after she started working on the site to gather my thoughts and ideas on the direction of the site, I didnt get this mock up until two days before the site was expected to be completed on 12/17/2010
She was unresponsive and stated that this was due to instrumental people on her team being out due to deaths in their families. She stated that this took place 3 days after she received my job. If she knew that she was understaffed that was the time to notify me because she knew it was a time sensitive project. Instead she hid those facts from me and shunned my calls and emails.
She stated that my project was the only one affected and was inferior and rushed.

(I NEVER RECEIVED THIS JPEG)- 2 days prior to 12/17/10 she sent me to synergy.shanonnelson.com, the pictures were not sharp, they were blurry, the pictures had been snatched off of facebook still with writing on them, it wasnt even cropped, the site had no continuity, things were just on the site, but there was no real flow of the sight. The design was boring and not my brand, the color was blue, and masculine like. The font was small, and the drop downs were boring, of all the sites I sent her, none of them resembled this site.
She was unprofessional and did not do the things she agreed to do and thats why 3 weeks later there was a disaster and lost revenue on my part as a business owner.

(Again, first disappointment, I was not aware that she wouldnt begin the site until the funds cleared. I was knew to Paypal processessing and didnt see any other option other than bank draft. This is tough. I understand your position but it puts me in a compromised position yet again. My website had already been down a month trusting that a friend could have it up in two weeks and I was certain that you understood the importance of the website being up on time. This whole process has been difficult for me, mainly due to time commitments not being kept. I'm not upset with you. Only frustrated with the process and really wish you had known that I'm a woman of my word. Deep Breath. Essentially, I can't sell books, market, do anything until my website is up and running. With that in mind. I have manycolleagues, mentors and friends assessing the website (when it's complete) due to the amount of money that was invested in the website. I need an estimated completion date, not a maybe, not a I think. A true estimated completion date preferably with a discount if the website is not completed on the promised date. Again, this is not a slight to you, only to ensure that I have a CLEAR idea of when to expect this project done.

The website wasnt reset until December 9, 2010 although I had requested it since Dec 3, 2010 because she stated that she didnt know how to do so and had to wait for her staff member to return from leave due to an illness in the family.
That sounds wonderful! In terms of capturing emails, where is those email addresses going?

She has not consistently kept her word about anything) I NEVER saw the site until Dec 15th and the site was way OVERDUE on Dec 17th. I never was able to put in input in on the mock up. Essentially, there was no mock up as promised)

In regards to the site feed, not to get too technical but the underconstruction theme does not support widgets. I need a widget to install feedburner code. At the moment, I am trying to override it with a few plugins. Will keep you posted in an hour or so
In the meantime, I created a feed for your other blogon the site. Just because , doesnt have feeds right now. Anyhoo, when comments or new posts are made tofeed subscribers receive an e-mail.
I can install an email capturing database on the back-end of your site to capture email addresses and to send emails to database. However, it will not be fully function until Dec 15th. It goes with the theme

In reference to your auto- responder, please send free mp3 file and ebook you wish to have automatically send to the subscriber, along with any message you would like to send.
(I called her a week prior, she never returned the call. This feed form she brags about, didnt even work)

There are free auto-responder plugins for wordpress, however once you set up the aweber stuff, we need the code to embed on homepage

Had to get another designer to give her tips on setting up Aweber.
I'm told to tell you to please be sure to install BOTH the plugin and widget.
I know the aweber plugin works, I've used it for various clients.
However, I do not know what you signed up for. Especially since you did not get a html code to install in the site. The plugin is free. Hence, my question :)
