PTS is okay, not a rip off....

I am a customer of PTS. And have bought many systems. First of all these people did not get ripped off. I know it says 2,000 dollars on the box. My truck also said 17,000 dollars on it, when I got it for 11,000.

Not one of these people complained about the quality of the sound that these speakers put out. You know why they sell them through the street? To save YOU money. These people complained that they are not worth $2,000. Of course they aren't people...BUT, they are worth every penny of $200. I have PTS speakers in my house right now, and so do many of my friends. They put out excellent sound for the price.

Good bass, good highs, decent mid range. The stuff is quality. If you are complaining that they do not sound good or are broken, contact PTS. If you are compalaining because you bought them from some guy in a Explorer and they are not worth 2,000 please quit your cryin. I bought my truck from some guy in a parking lot for thousands less than the tag said. Did I complain that it is not a $17,000 truck? This is not a rip off.

It is Marketing...
You got a good deal. The speakers are worth what you paid. A scam is when you buy speakers that do not work. I could tell you they are priceless and it would not be a scam. Also, if you do not know what a 2,000 dollar speaker looks like, maybe you need to start out with PTS speakers. They are entry level speakers, and only a novice or rookie would not know this...I am an expert with Cerwin Vega, Infinity and PTS speakers.

Get educated and know the difference...Last but not least, You bought them sucker!!! How are you going to buy speakers from a guy in a parking lot and then whine and complain about it??? You want $2,000 speakers? You know how you can tell a $2,000 speaker? It comes with a receipt from a retail store with a sound room for audio demonstrations...You can also tell because they cost $2,000 dollars....

Here is where these speaker come from

I was fooled for the same deal at the Fremont
Home Depot parking lot on 02-10-03. After alot of
researchs, I found out that this is a very
sofisticated, well organized scam designed to
ripoff people.

They build these dirt cheap speakers and purposely over priced them at $1999.00 as stated on their web site and magazine ad, and even labeled this price on the box to make their parking lot victims felt that they got a deal.

Here is where these speaker come from:

Pecision Transducer Systems
461 Dupoint Avenue
Ontario, CA 91761
Tel: 909-390-6661 Fax: 909-390-3770
Web site: www.ptswoofers.com/index2.htm

And you can find their distributor dealers at

many 'Parking Lots'.

Please help to put an end to this organization!

Another lesson well learned,
T.N.

New location ..approached today with the same deal

HI, I wanted to check out where the speakers came from because I had never heard of the company. Basically, I was approached today with the same deal, but by 2 white males in a new(no license) white Ford Explorer who said they worked for a company called Worldwide Audio in Rancho Cordova On Sunrise Ave). They said that had purchased these speakers for their boss but could not return them because they were already paid for.

They said they were bonded couriers and those speakers were theirs and they had gotten it for free due to the fact that they could not return them.

This was just today, 1/21/03. The speakers do work, but, obviously not what the men purported them to be.
