The Digital Nerds, The Camera Whiz Seems to be selling used equipment as new Brooklyn New York
I unfortunatly bought the Sony DCR-DVD105 handycam in May with the battery/case (for an extra hundred) and it came in June with a photocopied box, a photcopied manual and a poor quality NERO burning ROM that did not work. I have used the camera just 5 hours (or 10 of those 1/2 hour DVD's) when the LCS screen stayed dark all the time and made the camera unusable. My electronics friends says I had a fried CCD chip and that most likely it was a refurbished unit.
Tried calling them but they were very rude to my wife and hung up and turned their machines on. The same guy on the recording was the one rude to my wife, probably the owner. Definately a scam operation. Stay away from these guys! Jim
