THE DUCK got me too! Ugly Duckling Rip-off Auto Used Dealers Glendale Arizona *UPDATE ..Now they change the name to drive time. Man they suck!
I desperatly needed transportation and had a down payment so I too went to THE UGLIES! They set my payment so high and went sooo far over blue book that I couldn't keep up the payments. When I got behind the herassment started. I would make arrangements to pay and would meet the arrangments then they would charge late fees and not disclose them to me. Heydon called me and threatened to come take the car and I should have let him.
Did I mention that within 2 months of buying the car I replaced the cv joint? I recieved a letter stating that I owed them 200$ and I promptly paid it and the next week I recieved a letter stating I owed 250$ Hmmm seems strange huh? They can not explain this to me instead they have called the total loan due even though I am current and actually ahead on my payments at this time. I regret the day I bought from the Ugliest ducks in Glendale AZ! Buyer beware. State of AZ wake up and reulate these guys. They are robbing the poor!

I traded the car off and essentially paid it off 2 years early and they filed a bad credit report on me for paying them off early. Now they change the name to drive time. Man they suck!@

I went to a reputable dealer and traded off my duck. Try real auto dealers maybe your credit isn't as bad as you think. these real dealers have hard to finance resources too.

Now I never asked to pay off the car just mentioned if I had the ability to I would to get rid of THE UGLIES. This is how they treat me when I have payed up in advance. No reply to my complaint about misleading collectors. I think Rosie and Giselle and Heydon get a commission on collections so they mislead you as to what you really owe to draw the collection out as long as possible. I could have and would have been up to date much sooner if they had told the truth!
