The Dump/Haynes Furniture/Claude Neptune/Shannon Sanchez Sent Us Damaged Furniture Twice!!!! Oaks Pennsylvania
I am a customer of The Dump. I purchased a bedroom set (bed, dresser, 2 night stands, 2 box springs and a chest) on January 5th from the Oaks, Pa location. Delivery was on January 10th. An hour after delivery we noticed that the drawers were not staying closed and 3 of the knobs on the dresser were knocked off and would not screw on. After many ongoing calls back and forth through customer service and Claude Neptune (the manager from the Oaks, Pa location), they finally agreed to let us exchange the dresser, which we were happy to do, as opposed to having a technician come out and try to "fix" the problem. On January 17th, the new dresser was delivered. The delivery men had me assess the dresser outside of my house before they brought it in. At that point, it looked fine. On January 18th, I noticed that on the top of the mirror, scratches were covered up with a black permanent marker and noticed that the crown molding on the new dresser was hanging off and fell off when i assessed it.
Again customer service wanted to send out a technician to try to fix the furniture. I spoke with Shannon Sanchez and Darrell Turner and they were extremly rude. At no point did they want to remedy the issue. Instead, it always came back to a tech. coming out to fix what never should of been broken. I feel when you order brand new furniture that it should not need to be"fixed". It should be delivered in perfect condition. I did not pay for broken furniture and i should not have been delivered broken furniture.
In all honesty what I have found is that the Dump/Haynes Furniture are crooks. They supply you with broken furniture and are trying to tell us we have no rights bc of the one day return policy they have in place because of their inferior product.

My wife spent all day on the phone with customer service and was finally informed that the decision to process the return rested with the manager of the store, Claude Neptune. We called Claude Neptune and her refused to do anything for us. this is the first time in my 31 years I have ever felt helpless as a consumer and am dealing with horrible customer service on a daily basis. The Dump/Haynes Furniture should not be allowed to continue these practices. They are sending out damaged furniture to consumers in hopes that issues are not identified in one day so the consumer with have no recourse. Don't buy anything from these crooks.

Spoke with Ray Durham, Customer Service Manager, his solution to our dresser was to replace it for a thrid time. Related to our scratched mirror frame, which arrived scratched and someone covered up with permanent maker. "Sorry sir we will not replace it." I then expained that I purchased a warranty and he said they don't handle those types of scratches. I can not stress to other consumers more, avoid the Dump (it is properly named). My wife and I have spent several hours on the phone with them and not a single person wants to make us whole. We received damaged goods twice! Not what we payed for.
