Complaint Review: The Express Group - Rebate Service Center

I purchased a computer/printer bundle from Office Depot. The printer had a $50 rebate. I sent in copies of all of the required information according to the information on the back of the rebate slip.

The Express Group sent me a postcard stating I did not comply with the terms of the offer by sending the original UPC for the printer and the desktop. Thanks to this website, I was able to find a number to call. I told the representative that the rebate slip stated I could send a copy of the UPC codes or the originals. The first representative seemed to brush me off (too bad, so sad you didn't comply). When I mentioned your website and their Company scamming consumers, her behavior changed to more aggressive in nature. She said she couldn't help me even though she had all of my information on the computer in front of her.

She gave me 1-800-954-0606 to call when dealing with Office Depot rebates. I called that number and it just rang - no message, no prompts, no voice recorded message. I called back and got another representative. I talked to the supervisor, Anthony, who gave me yet another number.

This is the first time this has happened to me. Has anyone else gotten success with the Office Depot rebates and The Express Group?
