A rep from "The Farm Supply" called me the first part of the year and told me that I had won a stereo in a company New Year's party drawing because I had bought a bottle of their weed killer in 2003 and was a new customer etc.
On 4/06/04 a man named Rob called me and informed me that he had 4 boxes sitting in a warehouse in Arizona with my name on them and that they only needed a Credit card # for the postage to ship it to me! He informed me that there were some products that he would ship to me (implying that I had won in this drawing) and wanted to know what size etc that I could use them in. He never told me the total amount of this that he was charging my MC.

The stereo and a DVD reader/writer were delivered by UPS, and in another shipment, one box of cleaner (10 containers) and one box of weed killer(6 containers) . I opened the boxes but not the containers. The stereo and DVD writer I did remove from their boxes and assembled them. I have the original boxes and shipping boxes.
When I received my MC credit card bill, I located the invoice, still attached to a box, and I called
800 -527-1780 (the number of this company listed on the invoice and credit card statement) because they had invoiced me for the cleaner and the weed killer for $1,198.70 and shipping for $59.72 for a total of $1,258.42. I told them that I wished to return the products and was told that Tom would call me back. I called 4 more times with the same or similar response with no contact received from them.

I then called demanding an address to mail these things back to them and finally got a response from Tom (General Manager?) on 7/7/04. He informed me that this was a final sale and final shipment on this promotion so there would be no returns!!!! After a lengthy discussion he said he would file a General Manager's Grievance Form and credit $599 to my credit card account and it would show up in 3-5 days on my account. I wanted to ship all of the products back to him for a full refund, but he indicated that was not possible, because this was a final sale.
As of today, 7/21/04, this credit has not appeared on my account.
