On Nov 3rd 2010 the final touch painting company was scheduled to paint our loft in Toronto. A deposit for this job was paid two days prior for $300. The total job was quoted at $1000 plus HST. Our contract with final touch painting company was to paint the loft professionally for a new tenant.
We received an email within a couple hrs of the arrival time of final touch painting company saying that the job was complete. We were very surprised that this was the case as how could it have been properly painted so quickly. We called final touch painting company and spoke with the owner John Bilenkis who told us the job was done by several people and this is how it was done so fast. We told him we would need our agent who looks after the property to confirm the job was done correctly before paying the rest of the money.
We were contacted by our agent who told us that the paint job was quote:
-  Slap dash paint job = insufficient job
- Bad hole fixing over fire place = Will not help us rent the place.
- There are borders of old paint around plate cover
- failure to remove plate covers before painting so old paint shows through
- Dust still stuck on wall = painted  OVER dirty instead of removing

We notified John Bilenkis of this right away through a cc email from our agent and phone calls with him both by my girlfriend and myself.  Mr John Bilenkis was given the option to either arrange a time to fix the job and we would pay the remaining balance OR to refund us the money we have paid him since the job was done in such a poor way.  John Bilenkis of the final touch painting company has refused to accept any responsibility for this poor job and have refused to go back to the loft to correct the problems.  He was rude on the phone and i doubt he will refund the deposit.  DO NOT USE the final touch painting company or do any dealings with John Bilenki
