Complaint Review: The Foreclosure Defense Law Center P.L.

We contacted Foreclosure Defense Law Center to help us with refiancing our mortage so that we could keep our home. We took the time to check them out and was fooled.

We were required to send so much money up front along with the paper work filled out that they requested, just as most refiance companys do.  Every thing look and checked out to be legite.

Needless to say that we were told to stop payments until they and the bank had mad a deal, so we did.  In November 2009 we got a letter from the bank with good faith papers in it saying to pay so much for the 3 month period showing we could make the new payments.

We contacted Foreclosure Defense Law Center when we looked at the date on the envolope and the date of the letter inside and they did not match the date that they wanted us to pay the first payment and would have made our first payment already late and would void the contract aggrement.

Forclosure Defense told us to make the payment anyway it was ok.  We had looked up the law on this and if we would have made a payment then the bank could have taken our house right then for failure to keep the contract and on time.

Forclosure Defense then told us after fighting with them that we would not make a payment and why that, they would look into it and see what was going on.

Needless to say I can no longer get ahold of Foreclosure Defense Law Center and am out the money we invested into them, also we are now way behind on our house payments and have no idea what we are to do.  We are not sure who to turn to to help us in this matter so that we can keep our house .
