I was involved with a policy holder of The General on 10-13-15.  As of this date, 11-23-15, i still have not received the compensation that they have indicated that i will receive.  I have gone through 3 different departments as my case has progressed.  They sent an adjuster out on 10-14-15, who totalled my truck.  My case was then passed from the claims department to the total loss department on 11-4-15 and a representative named Casandra Houston.  She called on approximately 11-12-15 and left a message asking me to call her.  I called her on 11-16-15, for the first time, and left a message.  She never replied.  I attempted 2 more calls over the course of the next week with no calls being returned.  As of this date, 11-23-15, i still have not received any settlement from The General.  For any prospective people looking for an insurance company, i would stongly advise steering clear of this company as they have a reputation of ripping people off and dragging claims out in effort to make you give up persuing your claim against them.
