I found The Global Connection on Franchise Gator Fall-04. I responded on Franchise Gator and received interesting sales literature. The sales Rep J. Stefano contacted me, provided a list of brokers to contact in which I did, and mailed me an agreement.

I didn't do the research like I was planning, but according to my sales rep the price of training was going up 2K in Feb. I decided at the very end of Jan-05 to just go for it. I mailed the payment Jan. 27, 2005. Instead of analyzing my decision, I decided to just plunge in.

My first sign of concern was when I emailed my sales rep to verify that TGC received the contract and payment. I received no response. I sumbitted a few more emails and then began calling. Nothing! I then decided to call the list of brokers, and all telephone numbers were out of service or disconnected. My heart skipped a beat, and I called my bank to check on the payment. Luckily funds were still in my account, and I cancelled the payment.

I feel sympathy for those of you who were harmed by this company. I have kept all sales literature and emails. I would be interested in helping bring these people down. I was lucky that I did not lose money, but I am angry at the people behind this scam. I am going to continue my efforts against the people behind this scam.
